Yoga Nidra is a deeply restorative yoga practice which brings the body to a complete state of relaxation. Students will sit or lie in a still and comfortable position for the duration of class and be led through a series of guided meditation practices. The order of these meditations encourages students to relax deeper and deeper through the body, breath, and mind.

Yoga Nidra is deeply restful and elicits the same Theta and Delta brain wave patterns humans experience in deep sleep and REM. Consistent Yoga Nidra practice has shown in studies to help alleviate symptoms of stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and reduce headaches and physical pain.

Dress for rest, no need for athletic wear in this quiet and still class, loungewear or even pajamas are suitable.
Props will be available for this class, but please feel free to bring along any extra blankets, pillows, or props to build your Nidra nest.
